Everardo Viator hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Tiniebra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Ekialde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Vidal in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everardo Gabino saved C.A.B.J from getting behind. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when German Vidal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ibicuy AFC's Leopoldo Tiniebra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Ekialde in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernabe Selmo during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Bernabe Selmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. C.A.B.J's Roberto Ekialde got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th match minute, Ibicuy AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Selmo to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute of the match Basilio Abascal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leopoldo Tiniebra skillfully saved the ball. Rosendo Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Ekialde in the 82nd minute of play. If Roberto Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 87 minutes into the match, Enrique Ibar notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ibicuy AFC's Leopoldo Tiniebra. Leopoldo Tiniebra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Enrique Ibar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. In the 99th minute of the match Ibicuy AFC got a corner. C.A.B.J's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sixto Innocenzio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A.B.J had won after a very even match.
