Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Victor Chayo kicked off to start the match. Osvaldo Stanislao might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Xabel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osvaldo Stanislao ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th match minute, Xeneize Sureño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Feo to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Jeremias Tximitx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Xeneize Sureño getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Eloy Dominguez hit a great ball. Teofilo Vistruario kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Elvio Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Christian Berdoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miramar's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Berdoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Henrico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute Victor Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Henrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 played minutes Miramar got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Lluciano. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Stanislao to make the kick off. Xeneize Sureño's Pastor Henrico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Xeneize Sureño from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute, Eloy Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Miramar's Mauro Lluciano tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute of the match, Christian Berdoi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pastor Henrico was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Miramar booed when Xeneize Sureño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eloy Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Victor Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Henrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Berdoi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pastor Henrico firmly grabbed it by the left post. Osvaldo Stanislao scored 1-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnulfo Xabel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnulfo Xabel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osvaldo Stanislao went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Miramar's Mauro Lluciano got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Baldomero Panfilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xeneize Sureño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Panfilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Miramar players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Xeneize Sureño.
