Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernardino Liher in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Kinsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th match minute, Funebrero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Hunfredo to maneuver through the defense. During the 20th minute of the match Anselmo Hunfredo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Anselmo Hunfredo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 21st match minute, Funebrero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Hunfredo to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Serafo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Liher's late challenge caught a Matilde FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Liher helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Funebrero FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Liher. Godofredo Cresenciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Kinsen having to make a save. Bernardino Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Godofredo Cresenciano came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Funebrero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Cresenciano couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godofredo Cresenciano during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Funebrero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Cresenciano to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute Bernardino Liher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Kinsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Gutierrez made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Funebrero FC's Angelino Nardo. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Bernardino Liher made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Matilde FC's zone, Cipriano Gagriel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Kinsen came out of the goal and Cipriano Gagriel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Matilde FC's Eloy Kinsen got control of the ball when Godofredo Cresenciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leo Haritz kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Florencio Leguizamón left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matilde FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Bernardino Liher might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Kinsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardino Liher ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Eloy Kinsen managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Funebrero FC's Godofredo Cresenciano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eloy Kinsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Gagriel in the 68th minute of the match. Eloy Kinsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Gagriel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardino Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Kinsen having to interfere. Eloy Kinsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Funebrero FC. Bernardino Liher in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eloy Kinsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Godofredo Cresenciano got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-4 in the right cross in the 88th match minute before Eloy Kinsen had time to react. If Bernardino Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 94 in the game by Godofredo Cresenciano from a close distance when the talented Eloy Kinsen managed to make a qualified save. Matilde FC's players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded Funebrero FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Matilde FC.
