Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Damaso Firmin made the kick off which started today's match. Damaso Firmin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Truylos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Puntita Latorre's zone, Gregorio Lico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Truylos came out of the goal and Gregorio Lico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Breogan, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Severo Ramone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leones FC's Fabian Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Mendebal in the 28th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Leones FC's goalkeeper Fabian Tabb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnulfo Breogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fabian Tabb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Tomás Tartalo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Gregorio Lico came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Leones FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Lico couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the game, Leones FC's Pascual Cordarin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Truylos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 63 minutes into the game, Pascual Cordarin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puntita Latorre the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Pascual Cordarin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Arixo. Arnulfo Breogan took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Tabb. Fabian Tabb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 71 minutes into the game, Ovidio Arixo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puntita Latorre the free kick. The supporters of Puntita Latorre booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Arixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ezequiel Mendebal came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Puntita Latorre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Mendebal couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Venancio Sandaili got a free kick in the 74th minute. Fabian Tabb showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Mendebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ezequiel Mendebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Arnulfo Breogan made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Tabb. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Fabian Tabb came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Puntita Latorre's Arnulfo Breogan. But to his dismay, Arnulfo Breogan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Puntita Latorre's Arnulfo Breogan got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severo Ramone's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severo Ramone helped the player get up and apologised. Severo Ramone kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match.
