When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damaso Firmin made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Victor Goizeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fecha Libre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Goizeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Fecha Libre FC's Edgard Ilazki got a free kick in the 55th minute. Eulalio Gauargi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Firmin's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Tabb showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A very good chance. The Leones FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leones FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
