In the 17th minute, Justo Dantel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leandro Igon hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Guaberto Idacio kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Fitarruín got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Millan. Jonas Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Generoso Millan was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in BocaJrs's zone, Justo Dantel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Gauargi came out of the goal and Justo Dantel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Gauargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Millan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind BocaJrs's goalkeeper Reynaldo Gauargi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in BocaJrs's zone, Generoso Millan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Gauargi came out of the goal and Generoso Millan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Tano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, BocaJrs's goalkeeper Reynaldo Gauargi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justo Dantel. After a defensive mix-up in BocaJrs's zone, Justo Dantel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Gauargi came out of the goal and Justo Dantel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Generoso Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Dantel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Reynaldo Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fitarruín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Millan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Fitarruín's Justo Dantel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Gauargi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fitarruín's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
