Pankehá's Alonzo Maria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Raebert in the 8th minute of play. Jaime Rius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Vigil having to interfere. Maximo Vigil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Rius in the 13th minute. Alonzo Maria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Ferrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Eleuterio Ferrando came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Guandacol AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Ferrando couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Guandacol AFC booed when Pankehá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Damario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Maria having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Guandacol AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pankehá:s goal. In the 24th minute there was a penalty for Pankehá. Valentin Matai stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maximo Vigil. 1-0. Silverio Raebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Maria having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Guandacol AFC's zone, Leo Eladio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Vigil came out of the goal and Leo Eladio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Silverio Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alonzo Maria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Ferrando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Silverio Raebert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guandacol AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Raebert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Maria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alonzo Maria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Ferrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cleto Satordi kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. If Roque Bembe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Ferrando to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Prospero Balesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silverio Raebert's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alonzo Maria firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 59th minute, Silverio Raebert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonzo Maria was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Eleuterio Ferrando managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guandacol AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Ferrando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Maria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd match minute, Pankehá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Balesio to maneuver through the defense. Alonzo Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Ferrando in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to Pankehá getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Prospero Balesio hit a great ball. A hard and well directed shot from Jeremias Olentzaro led 81 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Pankehá's Alonzo Maria became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-2. The Guandacol AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guandacol AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
