Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sixto Felo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregorio Foro in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Gaztea saved Club Atletico River Plate from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico River Plate's Denis Artaldo got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Sixto Felo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Gregorio Foro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pablo Gaztea. Gregorio Foro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Club Atletico River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Prospero Fonso scored to the left of an out of position Pablo Gaztea, making the score, 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, Prospero Fonso notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Club Atletico River Plate's Pablo Gaztea. Pablo Gaztea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sergio Joanes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Denis Artaldo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. If Teodosio Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Teodosio Tanio put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Antonio Felipo. After a defensive mix-up in Florida FC's zone, Teodosio Tanio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Felipo came out of the goal and Teodosio Tanio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. German Baraquiel was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 38 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atletico River Plate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! In the 40th minute of the game, Florida FC got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Foro in the 46th minute of play forced Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Pablo Gaztea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Denis Artaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Felipo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Pablo Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Foro in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes Club Atletico River Plate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gilberto Faron who took care of the corner kick. Prospero Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pablo Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Gaztea came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Florida FC's Gregorio Foro. But to his dismay, Gregorio Foro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Andres Palos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pablo Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Prospero Fonso came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Florida FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prospero Fonso couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the game, Florida FC's Prospero Fonso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pablo Gaztea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Pablo Gaztea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Palos in the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Club Atletico River Plate defense, Prospero Fonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pablo Gaztea. The Club Atletico River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pablo Gaztea should have stopped the shot. After having played for 91 minutes, Prospero Fonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Florida FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Fonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Florida FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
