The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Rawson booed when MamaLuchona FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Goyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Rawson's Segundo Igon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vaidas Girinskis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rawson's Atilano Acevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Rawson from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvio Maurin in the 10th minute of play forced MamaLuchona FC's goalkeeper Vaidas Girinskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Segundo Igon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to MamaLuchona FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Evaristo Abarca hit a great ball. Segundo Igon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaidas Girinskis having to interfere. Alonzo Quintin kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 19thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Rawson's keeper Atilano Acevedo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 25 played minutes MamaLuchona FC got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Mark. Jonatan Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes, Rawson's Ulises Aguilera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vaidas Girinskis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rawson reached it. Silvio Maurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alonzo Quintin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Acevedo having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Rawson got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Endura. In the 36th minute, Evaristo Abarca sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Rawson's Atilano Acevedo didn't even have to move. Alonzo Quintin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Atilano Acevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Kepa was the one to do the kick off. If Samuel Kepa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Alonzo Quintin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Endura charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Endura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Samuel Kepa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Acevedo having to interfere. If Alonzo Quintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Igon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Vaidas Girinskis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atilano Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Kepa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The MamaLuchona FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rawson's performance. The match ended with a win for Rawson.
