The supporters of Whisky FC booed when Garuhapé AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Tonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Whisky FC's Nicanor Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Gonsalvo in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Whisky FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Atarratze to maneuver through the defense. Gaston Henric made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vinicio Salvino in the 11th minute. Bartolo Oinatz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Garuhapé AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Eutropio came free, but Gaston Henric reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Baldomero Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ruben Tonio fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garuhapé AFC's protests and gave Ruben Tonio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Ruben Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Javiero, 23 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vicente Balesio's late challenge caught a Whisky FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Balesio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Garuhapé AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Balesio to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Bartolo Oinatz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garuhapé AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whisky FC the free kick. Bartolo Oinatz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Baldomero Eutropio struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gaston Henric didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whisky FC. After a defensive mix-up in Garuhapé AFC's zone, Vinicio Salvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Henric came out of the goal and Vinicio Salvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vinicio Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Vinicio Salvino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gaston Henric was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th match minute, Garuhapé AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Tonio to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th match minute, Garuhapé AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Balesio to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomero Eutropio made a kick off. In the 55th minute Baldomero Eutropio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Henric saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Santos having to interfere. Vicente Hurko kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Baldomero Eutropio came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Whisky FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Eutropio couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Vinicio Salvino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinicio Salvino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaston Henric took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaston Henric showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Salvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Ruben Tonio kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Ruben Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Eutropio in the 79th minute of play forced Garuhapé AFC's goalkeeper Gaston Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garuhapé AFC's Ruben Tonio got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Ruben Tonio off the ground. A collision led to Garuhapé AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ruben Tonio hit a great ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Baldomero Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whisky FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Eutropio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinicio Salvino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Henric having to interfere. Gaston Henric made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Eutropio in the 95th minute of play. Edgard Gonsalvo came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicanor Santos could save by the left post. Vinicio Salvino struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Gaston Henric didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whisky FC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Whisky FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Garuhapé AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
