In the 19th minute Alejo Koldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Henric sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Masita al Medio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Koldo came free, but Froilan Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Koldo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Alejo Koldo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Junín AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Fulgencio Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Masita al Medio FC's Froilan Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Koldo in the 39th minute of play. Saul Ermano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Masita al Medio FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Casimiro Dorio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Junín AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 53 played minutes Masita al Medio FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Garoa. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Alejo Koldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Junín AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Koldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Txeru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Ermano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Celedonio Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Froilan Txeru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fulgencio Henric in the 59th minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Cleto Eder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Masita al Medio FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Eder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Masita al Medio FC booed when Junín AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Koldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Ermano in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celedonio Lia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejo Koldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Junín AFC booed when Masita al Medio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Garoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Henric got free with Froilan Txeru in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Froilan Txeru made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Fulgencio Henric sent off a good shot on target. If Alejo Koldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. Celedonio Lia went to the wrong direction when Sergio Lucero was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Junín AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
