If Amador Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Epicúreos del Jardín's Daniel Mateo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Tartalo in the 19th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Desiderio Mattin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Epicúreos del Jardín fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amador Leheren in the 34th minute of play forced Garuhapé AFC's goalkeeper Gaston Henric to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Santo Lawrence fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Epicúreos del Jardín's protests and gave Santo Lawrence a yellow card for diving instead. Santo Lawrence kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Epicúreos del Jardín had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
