The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Amancio Txartiko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paolo Cordarin. Defensores del Acha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amancio Txartiko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 27 played minutes, Oriente AFC's Rafael Canor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paolo Cordarin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Oriente AFC reached it. In the 28th minute, Anier Marcones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores del Acha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a little luck, Oriente AFC's Aaron Aballe got control of the ball when Manuel Erlantz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Cipriano Oalo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Aballe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. They were losing 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amancio Txartiko to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Defensores del Acha got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Erlantz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Arnau got free with Paolo Cordarin in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aaron Aballe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Indalecio in the 81st minute of the match. Mauro Arnau who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Paolo Cordarin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 94 minutes into the match, Defensores del Acha's goalkeeper Paolo Cordarin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro Arnau. The Oriente AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
