Denis Bembe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Astor Aragones. El Trueno Verde's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anibal Brais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astor Aragones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. racing capo's Luis Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Ixona in the 24th minute of play. If Adrian Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luis Sayveon made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Adrian Ixona sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Buinton got free with Luis Sayveon in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When El Trueno Verde's Adrian Ixona in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anibal Brais to strike the kick off in the second half. Astor Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Brais in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of racing capo booed when El Trueno Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Indar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Todor's late challenge caught a racing capo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benjamin Todor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Trueno Verde's goalkeeper Astor Aragones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Sayveon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Buinton's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Adrian Ixona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Trueno Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Ixona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Sayveon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Buinton in the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Generoso Buinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Trueno Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Buinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, racing capo's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Ixona came free, but Luis Sayveon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, El Trueno Verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Todor to maneuver through the defense. El Trueno Verde's Generoso Buinton got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Nemesio Marko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El Trueno Verde fans cheered their team off the field, for while racing capo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
