Mulcahy FC's Elvio Sidro got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Faustino Vasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Cordarin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustino Vasco ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Defensores del Acha's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Vasco came free, but Paolo Cordarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Alfonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Oalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Angel Alfonso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amador Johans in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Mulcahy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Indalecio came free, but Angel Alfonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Aaron Abilio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paolo Cordarin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faustino Vasco in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paolo Cordarin saved Defensores del Acha from getting behind. After the first half Mulcahy FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Faustino Vasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Faustino Vasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Mulcahy FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Defensores del Acha.
