Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amancio Txartiko started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pablo Rodas during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Astor Aragones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Txartiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Rodas in the 7th minute of play forced Oriente AFC's goalkeeper Aaron Aballe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Pablo Rodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Generoso Buinton in the 15th minute of play. Aaron Aballe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrian Ixona went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. El Trueno Verde's Astor Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Txartiko in the 23rd minute of play. Pablo Rodas took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aaron Aballe. Aaron Aballe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. El Trueno Verde's Astor Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Txartiko in the 29th minute of play. Adrian Ixona kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Aaron Aballe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Buinton in the 34th minute of the match. When Generoso Buinton fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Trueno Verde's protests and gave Generoso Buinton a yellow card for diving instead. Aaron Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Ixona in the 42nd minute of play. If Amancio Txartiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Aballe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Todor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Adrian Ixona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Raymundo kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mauro Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Amancio Txartiko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Astor Aragones was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Amancio Txartiko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Astor Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Adrian Ixona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Trueno Verde and the Oriente AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Oriente AFC booed when El Trueno Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Ixona didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Mauro Arnau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oriente AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Arnau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Aragones breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the game, one of El Trueno Verde:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Oriente AFC. Mauro Arnau stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Astor Aragones. 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as El Trueno Verde's Pablo Rodas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aaron Aballe. That made the score 1-3 after 77 minutes of play. Nicolas Estebano kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Amancio Txartiko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oriente AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Txartiko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Txartiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Nemesio Gorbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Mauro Arnau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauro Arnau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Astor Aragones having to make a save. With an all-out effort, El Trueno Verde's Aaron Aballe threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adrian Ixona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The El Trueno Verde supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing El Trueno Verde would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
