Racing Club's Cornelio Henry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Montxo in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Racing Club booed when Bologna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Milian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Racing Club's Haroldo Bilintx tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 25 minutes, Leonides Cefero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bologna FC and the Racing Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ildefonso Paul was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Racing Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Desiderio Montxo scored to the left of an out of position Cornelio Henry, making the score, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Montxo made a kick off. Alonzo Bonifaco kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Cornelio Henry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Montxo in the 64th minute of play. Guido Olo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Jakue's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Ildefonso Paul skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Desiderio Montxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
