When Edelmiro Eriz came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Charras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Eriz couldn't finish the play. Haroldo Franco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Santikurtz in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Garaona in the 19th minute of play forced A.D Infantil Platense's goalkeeper Siro Senen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Sengrat's late challenge caught a A.D Infantil Platense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Sengrat helped the player get up and apologised. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jimeno Lekubegi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
