After a defensive mix-up in Corrales's zone, Baldomiro Isauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Montez came out of the goal and Baldomiro Isauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Santo Bonifaco fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Corrales's protests and gave Santo Bonifaco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Corrales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Bonifaco to maneuver through the defense. If Baldomiro Isauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliciano Mikelar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rosendo Clodio fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Isauro in the 15th minute of play forced Corrales's goalkeeper Aaron Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corrales's Aaron Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Isauro in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Baldomiro Isauro made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Montez. Corrales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 27th minute, Santo Bonifaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Baldomiro Isauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Corrales's Severino Lleir got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Esteban Quilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomiro Isauro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Aaron Montez 42 minutes into the match. Aaron Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Isauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Corrales's Feliciano Mikelar got a free kick in the 46th minute. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Corrales's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bernardino Furtado was slow to take the kick. During this time Club El Porvenir's players had a chance to rest.

The wind increased when Baldomiro Isauro made the kick off in the second half. Aaron Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Quilino in the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Club El Porvenir's Baldomiro Isauro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aaron Montez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Esteban Quilino sped through Corrales's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aaron Montez. When Club El Porvenir's Baldomiro Isauro in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Corrales's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Quilino in the 72nd minute of play forced Corrales's goalkeeper Aaron Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Montez was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Esteban Quilino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Quilino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliciano Mikelar's late challenge caught a Club El Porvenir's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliciano Mikelar helped the player get up and apologised. Feliciano Mikelar hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Isauro in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Montez saved Corrales from getting behind. In the 88th match minute, Corrales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Senio to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute Baldomiro Isauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Montez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club El Porvenir's Lisandro Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Tabby in the 93rd minute of play. If Baldomiro Isauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Esteban Quilino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Aaron Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corrales's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
