Feliciano Mikelar struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Emilio Vellito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corrales. The supporters of Corrales booed when Lagunilla AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Fagondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes, Corrales's Ezequiel Iratxo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emilio Vellito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corrales reached it. Feliciano Mikelar charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Mikelar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Feliciano Mikelar kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Feliciano Mikelar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Emilio Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Fagondo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Corrales's Ezequiel Iratxo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emilio Vellito in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonathan Tabby stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Feliciano Mikelar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Vellito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Patricio Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Florencio Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 64 minutes into the match, Lagunilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Mikelar came free, but Emilio Vellito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Lagunilla AFC's Aaron Montez threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ciro Gomesano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emilio Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Tabby in the 67th minute of the match. Severino Lleir hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Tabby in the 79th minute of play forced Lagunilla AFC's goalkeeper Emilio Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Jonathan Tabby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Vellito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Tabby's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Vellito was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Feliciano Mikelar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Feliciano Mikelar came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Corrales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Mikelar couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
