If Edelmiro Eriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Eriz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Montez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haroldo Franco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliciano Mikelar went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the game, Jonathan Tabby recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Haroldo Franco. Jonathan Tabby showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Corrales's Santo Bonifaco got a free kick in the 64th minute. Arnaldo Garaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Montez having to interfere. When Patricio Navarro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Corrales's Patricio Navarro got a free kick in the 67th minute. Aaron Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Garaona in the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Charras booed when Corrales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Bonifaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Garaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Aaron Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Samuel Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corrales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Benino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Corrales could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Charras throughout the match.
