After 12 played minutes Grupo Universitario got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Fernendo. Elias Manuelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nestor Vela read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Grupo Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Estevez came free, but Nestor Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Manuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Nestor Vela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Sergio Caton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grupo Universitario's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chicago me limpio the free kick. After 44 minutes, Elias Manuelo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Grupo Universitario's Nestor Vela tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Domingo Estevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Vela having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Manuelo to strike the kick off in the second half. Elias Manuelo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Nestor Vela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chicago me limpio. Nestor Vela made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Domingo Estevez sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Grupo Universitario getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cesar Refugio kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When Elias Manuelo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 84 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nestor Vela was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Claudio Fernendo kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Nestor Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Manuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Elias Manuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Domingo Estevez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 94th playminute. When the final whistle sounded Chicago me limpio left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Grupo Universitario.
