After 22 minutes, Victoriano Asur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dego F.C. and the Lagunilla AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alonzo Rafe took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gualterio Goi. Dego F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dego F.C.'s Gabriel Dino got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliberto Elorri charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Elorri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Dego F.C.'s Feliberto Elorri got a free kick in the 30th minute. Florencio Playo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualterio Goi having to make a save. Emilio Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Dino in the 37th minute of the match. Gualterio Goi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Dino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Inocencio Oton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dego F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Oton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Vellito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Inocencio Oton made a kick off. Inocencio Oton took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Vellito. Emilio Vellito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Inocencio Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Lagunilla AFC booed when Dego F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Asur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Rafe, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dego F.C.'s zone, Ciro Gomesano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualterio Goi came out of the goal and Ciro Gomesano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inocencio Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inocencio Oton in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Vellito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Severiano Cebrian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Vellito having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Lagunilla AFC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Txomin. Gabriel Dino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Emilio Vellito made a huge save. With his leg Emilio Vellito managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Dego F.C.'s Gabriel Dino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Dego F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
