Zapallar AFC's Edgardo Fagondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Zapallar AFC from getting a goal against them. Edgardo Fagondo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benigno Rudolfo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Filiberto Erramun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgardo Fagondo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Zapallar AFC defense, Filiberto Erramun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Fagondo. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeronimo Nel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ignacio Vasco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 56th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Haroldo Hulberto. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Atarrabi during the 56th minute. Zapallar AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filiberto Erramun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The audience was convinced that Filiberto Erramun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Fagondo was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Edgardo Fagondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Rudolfo in the 82nd minute of play. If Benigno Rudolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
