In the 26th minute, Domingos Selmo made a precise shot to the right of Edgardo Fagondo. Zapallar AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 31st minute of the match Alfredo Etor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basilio Faro skillfully saved the ball. If Patricio Breogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sportivo Sin Gente were winning 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Zapallar AFC's zone, Domingos Selmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Fagondo came out of the goal and Domingos Selmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Zapallar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Selmo came free, but Edgardo Fagondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tiburcio Checa fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Sportivo Sin Gente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Calixto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 85th minute of the match Tiburcio Checa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tiburcio Checa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 87th minute, Patricio Breogan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeronimo Nel during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zapallar AFC's Jeronimo Nel got a free kick in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Sportivo Sin Gente's Jonatan Marcones broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Edgardo Fagondo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sportivo Sin Gente had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
