In the 13th minute Christian Abancens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Sein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Karlo's late challenge caught a López's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Karlo helped the player get up and apologised. Christian Abancens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The López fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when López's Aquiles Marz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquiles Marz to make the kick off. Leonides Sein was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aquiles Marz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 80 minute of play. Christian Abancens scored 0-3 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Sein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 91 minutes into the match, López's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Hustaz came free, but Zeledon Ereinotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match, Aquiles Marz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonides Sein saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Abancens got free with Leonides Sein in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. López played a much better game than Huachana AFC and deserved their victory. The Huachana AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
