Carlos Avellaneda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Old Borrachians defense, Lázaro Hustaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Avellaneda. The Old Borrachians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Avellaneda should have stopped the shot. If Hermengildo Perpinya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Huachana AFC's Lázaro Hustaz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Old Borrachians's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Millano came free, but Carlos Avellaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Old Borrachians's Carlos Avellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Remir in the 46th minute of play. A collision led to Old Borrachians getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Fernando Ibañez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Hustaz in the 48th minute of play forced Old Borrachians's goalkeeper Carlos Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hermengildo Perpinya made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Huachana AFC's Hector Millano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Avellaneda. Carlos Avellaneda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. If Hector Millano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. Carlos Avellaneda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Millano went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Hustaz got free with Carlos Avellaneda in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Avellaneda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Gartzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernando Ibañez's late challenge caught a Huachana AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Ibañez helped the player get up and apologised. Fernando Ibañez hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Carlos Avellaneda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hermengildo Karlo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 83 minute of play. Huachana AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
