With a little luck, Sportivo Sin Gente's Basilio Faro got control of the ball when Aquiles Marz tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Marz couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Sportivo Sin Gente's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Ramos came free, but Basilio Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes, Juan Valery mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sportivo Sin Gente and the López players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Sportivo Sin Gente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Valery to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Breogan took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Ereinotz. Zeledon Ereinotz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 32nd minute, López's Damaso Leguizamón seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Damaso Leguizamón the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of López protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Damaso Leguizamón had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of López:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sportivo Sin Gente:s goal. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Sportivo Sin Gente. Jonatan Marcones stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zeledon Ereinotz. 0-2. Zeledon Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Breogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquiles Marz struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Basilio Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for López. Basilio Faro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Marz in the 41st minute. Aquiles Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basilio Faro having to interfere. A collision led to López getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Eloy Ramos hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Domingos Selmo made the kick off in the second half. Domingos Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Zeledon Ereinotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Breogan got free with Zeledon Ereinotz in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, Sportivo Sin Gente's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Marz came free, but Basilio Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Marz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Aquiles Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Selmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Breogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingos Selmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Domingos Selmo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zeledon Ereinotz having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sportivo Sin Gente's Domingos Selmo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeledon Ereinotz. That made the score 0-3 after 91 minutes of play.
