Saul Duarte received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zeledon Ereinotz came out and tried to block the shot, but Saul Duarte slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Remecó 's Erasmo Joachim got a free kick in the 9th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Rolando Cordaryal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Ereinotz. López's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolando Cordaryal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Sebastian Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Ramos in the 17th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes, López's Eduardo Galindo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sebastian Vermudo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in López reached it. López's Zeledon Ereinotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Duarte in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Marciano Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, López's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Duarte came free, but Zeledon Ereinotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remecó 's Sebastian Vermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Ramos in the 27th minute of play. Luisito Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Vermudo having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eloy Ramos was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 66 minutes, Saul Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remecó 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saul Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Saul Duarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Remecó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Zeledon Ereinotz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Cordaryal's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 77th match minute, López was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Sugar to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Duarte in the 80th minute of play. Zeledon Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Lon charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
