Spectators: 7198 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hermengildo Perpinya took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Old Borrachians's goalkeeper Carlos Avellaneda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Braulio Barea. Hermengildo Perpinya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermengildo Perpinya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jose Bihar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabricio Hever took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jose Bihar. Unione Sportiva Lecce's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Fabricio Hever sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Bihar skillfully saved the ball. Old Borrachians's Hermengildo Perpinya got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Old Borrachians's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Heli came free, but Carlos Avellaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Ibañez struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Jose Bihar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old Borrachians. In the 34th minute, Old Borrachians's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luis Heli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Old Borrachians's Carlos Avellaneda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Goi in the 42nd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Everardo Gorbea took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Avellaneda. Carlos Avellaneda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Clodoveo Ubelteso's late challenge caught a Unione Sportiva Lecce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clodoveo Ubelteso helped the player get up and apologised. Clodoveo Ubelteso hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Teo Martxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Unione Sportiva Lecce's Leandro Sabin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Old Borrachians. 75 minutes into the match, Old Borrachians's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Heli came free, but Carlos Avellaneda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 played minutes, Old Borrachians's Fabricio Hever shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jose Bihar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Old Borrachians reached it. In the 82nd minute, Fausto Goi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Hermengildo Perpinya recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jose Bihar. Hermengildo Perpinya showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. In the 89th minute of the match Fabricio Hever shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Bihar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Unione Sportiva Lecce's zone, Hermengildo Perpinya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Bihar came out of the goal and Hermengildo Perpinya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Barea in the 96th minute of play forced Old Borrachians's goalkeeper Carlos Avellaneda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
