The referee ignored Los Forzosos de Almagro's protests and gave Arsenio Gabirel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Forzosos de Almagro getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Arsenio Gabirel hit a great ball. Saverio Luzaide charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Luzaide the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of catamate booed when Los Forzosos de Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Luzaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Constancio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cipriano Blai's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Baldomero Macerio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Gualterio Sidro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Cipriano Blai got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Baldomero Macerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Sidro, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Los Forzosos de Almagro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Baldomero Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Blai in the 51st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gualterio Sidro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Macerio was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. When Saverio Luzaide was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. After some careless play in the Los Forzosos de Almagro defense, Gualterio Sidro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Macerio. The Los Forzosos de Almagro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Macerio should have stopped the shot. Cipriano Blai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Macerio having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Los Forzosos de Almagro's Anier Monico seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anier Monico the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Los Forzosos de Almagro protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anier Monico had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 71st minute, one of Los Forzosos de Almagro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Forzosos de Almagro. The referee gave catamate a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Serafin Isias, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los Forzosos de Almagro's Baldomero Macerio. 3-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Blai couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. catamate fully deserved thier win.
