Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Huachana AFC's Hector Millano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hector Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Bihar having to interfere. In the 7th minute, one of Huachana AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Huachana AFC. The goalkeeper, Leonides Sein, was totally fooled by Unione Sportiva Lecce's Leandro Sabin, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Braulio Barea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Leonides Sein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Millano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Unione Sportiva Lecce's zone, Hector Millano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Bihar came out of the goal and Hector Millano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Heli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Sein having to make a save. In the 28th minute Luis Heli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Sein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 32 minutes, Hector Millano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huachana AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Millano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hector Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Bihar having to interfere. Lázaro Hustaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcial Remir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jose Bihar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Hustaz in the 44th minute of play. Fausto Goi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Leonides Sein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Heli, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Heli was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Tobias Jerardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unione Sportiva Lecce and the Huachana AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes Unione Sportiva Lecce got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Jerardo. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Lázaro Hustaz sped through Unione Sportiva Lecce's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jose Bihar. Huachana AFC's Hector Millano got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hermengildo Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Ariel Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hector Millano might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Bihar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Millano ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonides Sein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Heli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Luis Heli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Millano might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Bihar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hector Millano ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th match minute, Unione Sportiva Lecce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Gorbea to maneuver through the defense. Huachana AFC played a much better game than Unione Sportiva Lecce and deserved their victory. The Unione Sportiva Lecce players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
