Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Esiquio started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Francisco Esiquio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Esiquio in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustacio Ubendu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Esiquio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eustacio Ubendu having to make a save. Eustacio Ubendu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Esiquio in the 14th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Maltide's Sebastian Clis got a free kick in the 15th minute. It was beautiful to see Deportivo Villa Castells's Keenan Winter in action when he in the 22nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 31 minutes into the game, Sebastian Clis threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Villa Castells's Isidro Ireno quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Francisco Esiquio got free in front of the goal in the 33rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Eustacio Ubendu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Esiquio in the 35th minute of play forced Maltide's goalkeeper Eustacio Ubendu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Ireno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Ubendu having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Francisco Esiquio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Villa Castells's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Esiquio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Eustaquio Lugo made the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Dominix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Sal in the 54th minute of play. Lisandro Nayely's late challenge caught a Deportivo Villa Castells's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lisandro Nayely helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Maltide was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Nayely to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Keenan Winter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Villa Castells's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maltide the free kick. Keenan Winter kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Eustacio Ubendu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Esiquio in the 64th minute. When Lisandro Nayely was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. Haroldo Diagur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Eustacio Ubendu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Esiquio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustacio Ubendu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Francisco Esiquio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Eustacio Ubendu made a huge save. When Haroldo Diagur came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Deportivo Villa Castells fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo Diagur couldn't finish the play. Francisco Esiquio might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eustacio Ubendu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Esiquio ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Esiquio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Eustacio Ubendu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
