Alejo Atarratze who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Maximino Iratzeder when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience cheered when Mariano Savier's long shot passed Gonzalo Columbo's right side. It was 0-1, 8 minutes into the match. Maximino Iratzeder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Dolcet, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Saturnino Dolcet took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Iratzeder. Maximino Iratzeder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Maximino Iratzeder made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ceferino Haimar sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 29 minutes, Ceferino Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obraje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Haimar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Saturnino Dolcet fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maximino Iratzeder, passed just outside the right post. Ceferino Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Cortines's goalkeeper Maximino Iratzeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Haimar. After a defensive mix-up in Cortines's zone, Ceferino Haimar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Iratzeder came out of the goal and Ceferino Haimar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Mingo kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Saturnino Dolcet struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Maximino Iratzeder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obraje. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafin Guillerme was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Alejo Atarratze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obraje and the Cortines players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alejo Atarratze kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Lucio Columbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saturnino Dolcet couldn't finish the play. Lucio Columbo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Gonzalo Columbo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Filiberto Paublo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Ceferino Haimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Obraje's Ceferino Haimar got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cortines's Maximino Iratzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Dolcet in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Ceferino Haimar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Obraje fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Serafin Guillerme was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 88th minute Ceferino Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Iratzeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Cortines's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Dolcet came free, but Maximino Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ceferino Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cortines's Maximino Iratzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Dolcet in the 94th minute of play. Obraje walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
