Martin Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Gimenez in the 2nd minute of play. Martin Caitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Cordero in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Guernica AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Gimenez came free, but Martin Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Gimenez in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Caitano saved Guernica AFC from getting behind. In the 16thth minute of the game Ulises Gimenez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guernica AFC's Martin Caitano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Basilio Cordero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Martin Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Basilio Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaudencio Quintana hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Niceto Burutzagi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Caitano having to interfere. Basilio Cordero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Martin Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Carpintería's Angel Unax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Goito in the 54th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Ulises Gimenez took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Martin Caitano to make any attempt to save it. Niceto Burutzagi hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Angel Unax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Leoiar in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Guernica AFC booed when Carpintería was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Gaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Feliberto Goito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guernica AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpintería the free kick. Feliberto Goito kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With splendid footwork Ulises Gimenez arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-2 by the left pole in the game's 70th minute. Guernica AFC's Martin Caitano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Guernica AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Basilio Cordero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpintería fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ulises Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ulises Gimenez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Caitano was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Carpintería's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
