After 16 minutes of play, Cortines's Lucio Columbo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Kepa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucio Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Kepa having to interfere. Eleuterio Loren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Iratzeder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cortines's zone, Humberto Vergaray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Iratzeder came out of the goal and Humberto Vergaray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cortines's Damaso Eudoxio got a free kick in the 40th minute. Lucio Columbo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Arnoldo Kepa made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, club carlos casares's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Guillerme came free, but Arnoldo Kepa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th match minute, club carlos casares was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Maju to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 49 minutes, Mariano Savier took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arnoldo Kepa to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafin Guillerme made a kick off. Humberto Vergaray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximino Iratzeder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Cortines's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Eleuterio Loren scored to the left of an out of position Maximino Iratzeder, making the score, 2-1. When Humberto Vergaray came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the club carlos casares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Vergaray couldn't finish the play. If Lucio Columbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnoldo Kepa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Columbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Arnoldo Kepa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Columbo in the 76th minute of play. club carlos casares's Arnoldo Kepa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Columbo in the 78th minute of play. Arnoldo Kepa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucio Columbo's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Eleuterio Loren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Maximino Iratzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Honorato Gregory was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cortines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave club carlos casares the free kick. The supporters of club carlos casares booed when Cortines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Gregory didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Iratzeder didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. club carlos casares were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
