Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hugo Neron kicked off to start the match. Serafino Pepillo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Guernica AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Neron came free, but Martin Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gerardo Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Caitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Neron, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Santos Valiente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Roman y Lionel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Santos Valiente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Caitano having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Hugo Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roman y Lionel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Neron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Neron in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Caitano saved Guernica AFC from getting behind. In the 28th minute of the match Adolfo Castel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albino Etxatxu skillfully saved the ball. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guernica AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luciano Eate was slow to take the kick. During this time Roman y Lionel's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Roman y Lionel's Hugo Neron getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Hugo Neron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Gerardo Leoiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albino Etxatxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Hugo Neron was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Leopoldo Rameriz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Leoiar was the one to do the kick off. Hugo Neron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Martin Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Roman y Lionel booed when Guernica AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Lugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Valiente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Martin Caitano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Caitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Neron in the 62nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Orlo during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Caitano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Rameriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Guernica AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Valiente came free, but Martin Caitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Cosme Bembe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Santos Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Hugo Neron had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Caitano. Guernica AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Neron was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Albino Etxatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Leoiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Hugo Neron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
