The referee ignored Roman y Lionel's protests and gave Sebastian Orlo a yellow card for diving instead. Albino Etxatxu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Obraje's Gonzalo Columbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Rameriz in the 10th minute of play. Ceferino Haimar struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Albino Etxatxu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Obraje. Albino Etxatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Dolcet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Obraje's zone, Hugo Neron stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Columbo came out of the goal and Hugo Neron tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd match minute, Obraje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Lluciano to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Hugo Neron sped through Obraje's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gonzalo Columbo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Haimar got free with Albino Etxatxu in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejo Atarratze hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Roman y Lionel's Santos Valiente suffered a concussion in the 36th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Jonas Guilabertus charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonas Guilabertus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, one of Obraje:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Obraje. Gonzalo Columbo went to the wrong direction when Luciano Eate was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Dolcet made a kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Obraje:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Roman y Lionel:s goal. Luciano Eate placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Hugo Neron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albino Etxatxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceferino Haimar's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Albino Etxatxu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Dolcet went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Teofilo Tono fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roman y Lionel's protests and gave Teofilo Tono a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Roman y Lionel's Teofilo Tono got a free kick in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Roman y Lionel's Teofilo Tono got a free kick in the 97th minute. The Roman y Lionel players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Obraje from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
