When Ivan Oliverio fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Villa Castells's protests and gave Ivan Oliverio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cortines booed when Deportivo Villa Castells was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Oliverio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mariano Savier took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramiro Dominix. Deportivo Villa Castells's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute Lucio Columbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Dominix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Guillerme in the 30th minute of play forced Deportivo Villa Castells's goalkeeper Ramiro Dominix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Villa Castells's Isidro Ireno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alfonso Gaufred in the 63 minute of the game. When Honorato Gregory fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cortines's protests and gave Honorato Gregory a yellow card for diving instead. Honorato Gregory kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Roberto Abeijon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Keenan Winter notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cortines's Maximino Iratzeder. Maximino Iratzeder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atilano Karmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Haroldo Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Abeijon in the 76th minute of play forced Cortines's goalkeeper Maximino Iratzeder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Abeijon struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Maximino Iratzeder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Villa Castells. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cortines's goalkeeper Maximino Iratzeder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Roberto Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Villa Castells's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Iratzeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Deportivo Villa Castells were the better team. Deportivo Villa Castells's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
