After a rather tough play, Maltide's Lisandro Kepa got a free kick in the 9th minute. Maltide's Eustacio Ubendu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Haimar in the 10th minute of play. When Obraje's Saturnino Dolcet in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maltide's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Savion got free with Gonzalo Columbo in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eustaquio Lugo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonzalo Columbo having to make a save. Gonzalo Columbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Lugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Maltide got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Esiquio. After a defensive mix-up in Obraje's zone, Blas Savion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Columbo came out of the goal and Blas Savion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Obraje getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ceferino Lluciano hit a great ball. Maltide's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erubiel Esiquio in the 35th minute. When Obraje's Ceferino Haimar in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maltide's goalie prevented a goal. Saturnino Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Ubendu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Haimar in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Maltide's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Dolcet came free, but Eustacio Ubendu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match Pablo Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustacio Ubendu skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saturnino Dolcet was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Sebastian Clis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maltide's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obraje the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maltide fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! Maltide's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Saturnino Dolcet 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Dolcet in the 64th minute of play forced Maltide's goalkeeper Eustacio Ubendu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Lugo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Columbo having to interfere. 80 minutes into the game, Vinicio Sal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maltide's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Obraje the free kick. Vinicio Sal kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Maltide got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Nayely. After 91 played minutes Saturnino Dolcet rounded Maltide's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. After 100 minutes, Alejo Atarratze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obraje and the Maltide players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 100 played minutes Obraje got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Atarratze. After recieving a nice pass, Maltide's Erubiel Esiquio tried to score from far away in the 101st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Obraje played a much better game than Maltide and deserved their victory. The Maltide players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
