Ramiro Dominix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Neron, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Francisco Esiquio came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Deportivo Villa Castells fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Esiquio couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Deportivo Villa Castells booed when Roman y Lionel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goal Kick. The attack was good, but when Francisco Esiquio in the 22nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Albino Etxatxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Esiquio's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. The Roman y Lionel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Villa Castells's Francisco Esiquio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albino Etxatxu. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Esiquio during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th minute, Francisco Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Esiquio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 87th minute, Everardo Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atilano Karmel hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
