Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serafin Guillerme made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cortines's goalkeeper Maximino Iratzeder, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafin Guillerme in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustacio Ubendu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Nayely during the 14th minute. The supporters of Maltide booed when Cortines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Jacindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Eustaquio Lugo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximino Iratzeder. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 35th minute, Cortines's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eustaquio Lugo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Blas Savion struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Maximino Iratzeder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maltide. In the 40th minute, Blas Savion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinicio Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Serafin Guillerme showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3.
