The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Evaristo Corderun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Perrando in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Paulo Chesus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Admon. Cuervo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Chesus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in WAR MACHINE F.C.'s zone, Danny Sparrow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Corderun came out of the goal and Danny Sparrow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. WAR MACHINE F.C.'s Paulo Chesus got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danny Sparrow made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Danny Sparrow cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Evaristo Corderun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evaristo Corderun didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Paolo Jerold managed to get in a good position for a shot. WAR MACHINE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Jerold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Admon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Paulo Chesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Admon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Jerold, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Leopoldo Corderall made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cuervo FC's Dominik Milan. When Danny Sparrow came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Cuervo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danny Sparrow couldn't finish the play. Danny Sparrow might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Corderun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danny Sparrow ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute Danny Sparrow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuervo FC's Marcos Admon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Chesus in the 80th minute of play. Paolo Jerold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Marcos Admon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cuervo FC's Marcos Admon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Jerold in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, WAR MACHINE F.C.'s Paolo Jerold got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Evaristo Corderun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danny Sparrow in the 94th minute. Although WAR MACHINE F.C. had been in control for most of the match, Cuervo FC still came away with the win.
