The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rolando Olivar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Delmar Domenec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Aureo having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Ambargasta's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Macerio came free, but Rodrigo Lizbeth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Aureo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Olivar's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Rolando Olivar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zeledon Aureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Aureo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Olivar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Domenec in the 69th minute of play forced Lion Force's goalkeeper Zeledon Aureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Olivar in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Aureo saved Lion Force from getting behind. Gogo Perutxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th minute, Marcial Bastia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Domingos Rocio fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lion Force's protests and gave Domingos Rocio a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the game, one of Ambargasta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Lion Force getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Ramiro Etxekopar hit a great ball. Ambargasta's Fabio Galsino couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 99th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lion Force. A collision led to Ambargasta getting a freekick after 102 minutes play. Rolando Olivar hit a great ball. Ambargasta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
