Ovidio Jakue charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidio Jakue the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Gervasio Oso came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the El carcelero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Oso couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Wolfs masters futbol club's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Oso came free, but Mauricio Acosta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Paolo Darien tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Simon Gil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ovidio Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulo Beat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Belarmo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Simon Gil successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Placido Libertad made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to El carcelero getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Celedonio Eguen hit a great ball. If Patricio Belarmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, El carcelero's Virgilio Edwardo got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Ovidio Jakue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Ovidio Jakue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Simon Gil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 69 minutes, Placido Libertad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolfs masters futbol club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Libertad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Gil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidio Jakue in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Ovidio Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Gil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, El carcelero's Cornelio Sein got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Cristobal Kepa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Wolfs masters futbol club's Venancio Quirce tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 79 played minutes Wolfs masters futbol club got a freekick which was hit by Placido Libertad. The supporters of El carcelero booed when Wolfs masters futbol club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Belarmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Wolfs masters futbol club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Nesor was slow to take the kick. During this time El carcelero's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Paulo Nesor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mauricio Acosta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gervasio Oso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. El carcelero's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Beat in the 95th minute of play forced Wolfs masters futbol club's goalkeeper Mauricio Acosta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Wolfs masters futbol club were the better team. Wolfs masters futbol club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
