In the 12th minute, Emiliano Justin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The IX Brigada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Lino Mogel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolfo Maureo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. A collision led to Boulogne getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Marco Misael hit a great ball. Fernan Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Maureo in the 20th minute of play forced Boulogne's goalkeeper Lino Mogel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boulogne's Braulio Betadur got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ildefonso Montel hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Behe in the 26th minute of play forced IX Brigada's goalkeeper Bonifacio Argina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th match minute, IX Brigada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Curcio to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes of play, Boulogne's Braulio Betadur made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifacio Argina was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 37 minutes, Braulio Betadur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boulogne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Betadur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fernan Medardo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the IX Brigada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Medardo couldn't finish the play. Fernan Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Behe made a kick off. Adolfo Maureo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lino Mogel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Adolfo Maureo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lino Mogel. Boulogne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Maureo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Bonifacio Argina stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Behe's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Braulio Betadur made a precise shot to the right of Bonifacio Argina. IX Brigada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. If Braulio Betadur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Federico Curcio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 79 played minutes IX Brigada got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Montel. Lino Mogel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Medardo in the 83rd minute. Fernan Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lino Mogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boulogne's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
