Marcelo Gurutz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Medardo in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Niupi's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Medardo came free, but Marcelo Gurutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Primitivo Frutos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Argina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifacio Argina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Frutos in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Adolfo Maureo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Primitivo Frutos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bonifacio Argina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Lino Javiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niupi's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Javiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bonifacio Argina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, IX Brigada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lázaro Cresenciano to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Primitivo Frutos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of IX Brigada's Bonifacio Argina. Bonifacio Argina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adolfo Maureo was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Emiliano Justin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IX Brigada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Niupi the free kick. Fernan Medardo took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Gurutz. Marcelo Gurutz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Maureo got free with Marcelo Gurutz in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 62 minutes into the match, Adolfo Maureo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelo Gurutz, 1-2. In the 65th minute, Primitivo Frutos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bonifacio Argina was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. IX Brigada's Bonifacio Argina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Frutos in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Niupi booed when IX Brigada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Rosalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 minutes IX Brigada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonas Gau who took care of the corner kick. Marcelo Gurutz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adolfo Maureo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 76 minute of play. The IX Brigada players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
