IX Brigada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Madero Harbour the free kick. Fabio Darien might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bonifacio Argina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Fabio Darien managed to get in a good position for a shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wesley do Vale to make the kick off. If Ramiro Micael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Madero Harbour failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
