With a left leg Pedro Jakobe saved Intiguasi from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Gavilandia's goalkeeper Eleuterio Alonso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Ursino. Julio Ursino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Eleuterio Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gavilandia's Baltasar Haritz in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Intiguasi's goalie prevented a goal. After 21 minutes, Paulino Pudes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gavilandia and the Intiguasi players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gavilandia getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Paulino Pudes hit a great ball. Eleuterio Alonso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cirilo Inge. Jonatan Esiquio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Julio Ursino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Eleuterio Alonso made a huge save. Pedro Jakobe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Elvio Weather fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Intiguasi's protests and gave Elvio Weather a yellow card for diving instead. Elvio Weather kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Baltasar Haritz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Intiguasi's Pedro Jakobe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Nesor struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Pedro Jakobe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gavilandia. Filiberto Nesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Jakobe was a little too slow when Filiberto Nesor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 62nd minute Filiberto Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Jakobe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justino Guillen charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Gavilandia booed when Intiguasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Haritz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Jakobe having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, Baltasar Haritz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Intiguasi's Pedro Jakobe. Pedro Jakobe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Filiberto Nesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gavilandia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
