A collision led to Cacique Chalimín FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Anastasio Maidana hit a great ball. Baltasar Haritzs short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Esteban Oriche to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Gipuzkoa to make the kick off. The supporters of Cacique Chalimín FC booed when Gavilandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Sabino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Alonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Geronimo Gipuzkoa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eleuterio Alonso. That made the score 0-1 in the 72 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gavilandia's Filiberto Nesor got a free kick in the 74th minute. Benedicto Cuartio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Eleuterio Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Nesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Oriche having to interfere. Geronimo Gipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Alonso having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Cuartio got free with Eleuterio Alonso in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Baltasar Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Haritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cacique Chalimín FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
